Hello, my name is Joris Ricard and I am a software engineer in Lyon, France. Since January 2025 I have been working at GCA, a trucking group: I develop the ERP that handles orders, pricing and billing, and I designed the pipeline that reads orders received by email so dispatchers no longer retype them. On the side, I launched Mishka, a management tool for agencies, live since July 2026, and I am building Timon, an open-source TMS. I hold an MSc in Artificial Intelligence from Epitech.

A staged replay of what the pipeline I build at GCA does, applied here to my own introduction: every extracted value points back to its source.

What the pipeline actually reads: a transport order

At GCA, customers order transport by email and dispatchers retype everything into the ERP. The pipeline reads the message, extracts the order, matches it against reference data and scores it out of 100. From 90 up, the order goes into the ERP. Below that, a person decides. Python, FastAPI, Celery, PostgreSQL and pgvector, with models hosted on site.

The model could have assumed same-day delivery. It doesn’t: an invented value costs more than a minute of review.

Mishka, from the client’s side

A project management tool for agencies and freelancers, with a portal where each client follows their projects and approves deliverables. Designed, built, shipped and supported alone. Live since July 2026. Next.js, TypeScript, Supabase.

Mishka client portal, half in the light theme, half in the dark theme: what the agency needs from the client, contacts, upcoming deadlines.
  1. 1What the agency needs from the client, with dates.
  2. 2A named contact, not an anonymous helpdesk.
  3. 3Light and dark themes.
  4. 4Upcoming deadlines, with priority and status.

Demo data.

Mishka: a task with the Approved by client banner, and the comment thread where the client, Jean Duval, approves the cut.
  1. 5The client approves in the portal, and the team sees it in the task thread.
Mishka, quarterly performance review: editorial, studio dashboard, AI summary and Export PDF buttons.
  1. 6A quarterly report built from the studio’s data, summarized by AI, exported as PDF.

Timon, marked up in red

An open-source TMS for trucking companies, built around resource planning. Resources, customers and sites are shipped and live in the demo; planning is in progress. Scoping, architecture decisions and specifications are public. TypeScript, React, Hono, PostgreSQL.

Mockup of the planning screen, published in the repository. This screen is not in the demo yet.

Timon mockup, planning screen: orders to assign on the left, units grouped by family over three days on the right.
  1. 1You see the conflict before dropping the order, not after.
  2. 2Drag the order onto a compatible unit, in one move.
  3. 3Free, compatible units are suggested up front.
  4. 4Conflicts, alerts and utilization, always at the top.
